Lovely piece! My grandmother used to say that it was a sign of women's superiority that they tricked men into working long hours in the office so that women could stay at home raising children. And then the men were deceived into thinking they were the dominant gender!
🤣🤣 the whole world of female domestic common sense seemed to get thrown out of the window when women started seeking prestige careers and denigrating the stay-at-home life. Also Bill Burr does a very funny bit about how women shouldn't bitch about having to play with their kids all day, because it's not the same as work. 🤣
I was raised by a woman who actually told me in her later years that her philosophy was “bend with the breezes”. She never ruffled feathers. She married and “went along”.
I decided early on to be forthright,
assertive and independent. I believe you can learn to be a “wagon” type of woman by either of these opposing upbringings.
