I think there's more of a confluence between "Left" and "Right" on the level of the Elitist Globalists; and perhaps "Communism" and "Capitalism" are -- or have become -- two sides of the same coin. And whatever that coin is, exactly, it's safe to say it is malignant, nefarious, and unfortunately powerful enough to manipulate the Mainstream throughout the West to its ends, as has become clearer through this "pandemic".
Yes, I strongly agree. In fact, there is evidence that the terms 'left' and 'right' are just useful strings for global capital to pull, keeping people divided and distracted - and have been for over 100 years. The words left and right are more and more meaningless as time goes on. However, they are so ingrained in our understanding of everything that it's hard to eschew them altogether.
