I really enjoy your articles, but to set an example for my now 11yo daughter, I deleted Facebook and Instagram a couple years ago........It was getting toxic and outright stupid. Using data or logic or reason to have discussions about anything of meaning frequently devolved into weird, illogical, and demonstrable false tribal name calling. ☹️ I love seeing your posts on Substack though. 😊

You are correct about the social media awfulness! That's why don't have an overly large community on there, it's an unnatural way of communicating.
