In this episode, I talk with Con-She — ‘artist contra mundum:’ a “conscientious objector” whose work spotlights the cruel madness of our cancel culture. Like many formerly left-wing people I have met recently, Con-She has found refuge and peace of mind in Christianity.
In the notes to the disturbing and funny piece below, called Being Kind, she writes:
“Cancel culture shows us humanity’s nadir – a kind of primal psychopathy unleashed from any civilising force, yet cloaked in sanctimony, faux-righteousness, and constantly sweetened with this saccharine ‘we’re being kind’ rainbow glitter bullshit.”
You can see more of her work here.
