New PsyOp just dropped: 'constitutional crisis', 'President Musk' and 'science denier' RFK, Jr.
The IRS is being audited and there are folks who are actually upset right now? Jeez, there really is no pleasing some people.
Action from the White House is coming so thick and fast these days, the Mockingbird operatives must be working around the clock. Unless they are mid-level federal bureaucrats, in which case they are working from home for about 4 hours per day.
Trump is so far fulfilling his campaign promises of restoring common sense and decreasing the power of sprawling regulatory agencies. In response, the media has gone into spin overdrive with three distinct story lines developing.
cONstItUtiONaL CRISIS!!!!!!
I would love to know how these orders are transmitted. Is there a shadowy figure whose job is to put a call in from a nondescript office in northern Virginia, to the executive suites at CNN, NBC, ABC and NPR, with the daily talking points?
Imaginary scenario: a voice comes down the telephone line to an anxious secretary in a plush office high above 30 Rockefeller Centre. She scribbles furiously, so as not to get a single word wrong. ‘Ok, so the line today is…constitutional crisis. The Trump administration is fighting in the lower courts over a few executive orders, so we must repeat over and over again that the republic is about to fall. Constitutional crisis. Constitutional crisis. Constitutional crisis.” It goes out to all divisions. In order to make it look genuine, anchors and guests ad lib a little bit. Some call it a “genuine constitutional crisis.” Others say “massive constitutional crisis.” But the message is clear, and blue America is given the signal to panic.)
Click this link for a great mash-up of hacks repeating ‘constitutional crisis’ over and over.
Elon Musk is actually the president!!!!!
The other big story line is, of course, President Trump is just a figurehead and actually Musk is president. That one comes with a big side helping of “nobody elected Musk!”
Nobody elected Fauci either you dipshits. This is what losing power looks like.
After that very un-stagey press conference in the Oval Office the other day, in which Elon stood there looking like a big goofball in his tee shirt and blazer, occasionally wrangling his little son, while the president sat at the Resolute Desk looking very, uh, resolute — the progressives lost what’s left of their minds. Beady-eyed and thin-lipped Laurence O’Donnell, very special genius that he is, told us Musk “violated the dress code,” and in so doing made Trump his bitch.
This level of cope goes a long way back with Trump, about whom the media could never settle on a consistent line of attack. He was both an all-powerful, scary, democracy-ender, and at the same time a carnival barker in the pay of another, smarter, more powerful, scary, democracy-ender. This time 8 years ago, it was Putin. Today it’s Musk.
I’m old enough to remember when an obviously addled Biden was wandering around press conferences sniffing children and issuing garbled nonsense statements like “and we beat Medicare!” None of these people were asking who was really in charge.
But Musk is gonna Musk, and no matter how many cringe union protest songs are sung by craven bureaucrats with the softest of hands and the whitest of shirts.
And while we are on the subject of office workers LARP-ing as coal miners, someone should tell these two Woody Guthrie groupies to stop appropriating hillbilly culture. They look like retired librarian Boomers in hand stitched quilted overalls, not hard scrabble IWW strikers. Wake up to the reality that the Kennedy Democrats are MAGA now. I know you don’t want to hear it, but it’s true.
Before owning a small business and certainly before COVID, I would have sympathised with these federal workers greatly. But how can progressives, who claim to be on the side of the little guy, simply overlook the calamitous and evil COVID era, a time in which government bureaucrats drove policies that destroyed the livelihoods of millions and millions across the world? COVID divided the world in half: those with safe and easy white collar jobs that could be done from home, and everyone else. Those folks with the safe white collar jobs cruised through COVID like it was an extended vacation. Most others got royally screwed. If DOGE was not chopping up federal bureaucracies right now, that class divide would have been permanently carved into society and we would have ended up like the districts in the Hunger Games. Giving federal bureaucrats a taste of their own medicine was the only cure.
I mean, the IRS is being audited and there are folks who are actually upset right now? Jeez, there really is no pleasing some people.
We think men can get pregnant but RFK, Jr is a science denier!!!!!!
Here’s a little rule of thumb I go by. If someone is using the term “denier” — they are 9 times out of 10 government propagandists.
We had COVID denier. Election denier. And of course, the original brand, ‘climate denier.” Now, we get RFK, Jr, the “science denier.”
Senator Mitch McConnell was the only Republican to vote against Kennedy, and he said it was because he contracted polio as a child. Sure. I’m totally convinced it was the polio thing, and not the fact that his major donors include healthcare corporations and the Blackstone Group.
For the record I am not an unequivocal fan of either Kennedy or Musk. I am not a vaccine voter, and I am slightly horrified of anything that smacks of transhumanism — even with the human-friendly spin Musk puts on it.
Back in 2023, I even wrote a screed against Kennedy after he distanced himself from Moms For Liberty, when he was put on the spot by an entitled gay man who falsely claimed the group wanted to take away rights from gay people. (They want to take away rights from child porn purveyors — weird that he mixed the two up?)
But Bobby’s failure to defend M4L had me seething. I wrote: “But to me, it was the final nail in the coffin of my belief that anyone on the liberal-left side of the aisle is redeemable, politically speaking.”
I’m glad to say I was wrong. Kennedy was, in fact, redeemable. He showed actual integrity in his willingness to throw his considerable support behind Trump. I hope he achieves his goal of making America healthy again. Lord knows the country needs it.
Were it not for Kennedy’s and Musk’s willingness go against the milieux that raised them, and to instead band together with Trump and his little guy MAGA army of blue collar Americans, we would not be at this positive inflection point in the story of America.
Bottom line?
The truest populist voice is and always will be Steve Bannon. It’s nice to have the liberals and techies on board, but Bannon will always be, for me, the real centre of gravity and the most interesting mind of the movement that saved us — at least for now — from the stupidity and contempt of the unaccountable elites.
Just heard Vance's remarks in Munich. What a contrast to the last Veep - not only whole sentences but real ideas well-expressed. And in a tough venue to play...
Yes, it does seem like the leftist media all get the same memo from the Democrat party. A few months ago it was "existential threat to democracy", now it's "constitutional crisis". They repeat it so often, nobody listens anymore. I realized long ago that no matter what they're saying, the opposite is probably true.
