Happy St Patrick's Day to all! Except the Jews.
The moronic Irish left have failed to notice that the people spitting on Jews have never — not one time — been the good guys. Land of a thousand welcomes my ass.
On Friday, 14 March, the beginning of a bank holiday weekend in Ireland that culminates with a massive, colourful, and joyous St Patrick’s Day Parade through Dublin, a video went viral in which two young women accost an Israeli man in a restaurant in a Dublin suburb. They stand over him, yelling, smirking, posturing toughness.
They are making quite a racket. They give him the finger. One of the young women tells him: “You can take a video all you want! You are not welcome in Ireland. Israel is on its way out.” She speaks with an Irish accent. The other one, holding a keffiyeh and speaking in an Irish-tinged but foreign accent, adds: “Zionists are not welcome in Ireland! Fuck you and fuck Israel!” When the man replies, “Ok, I love you too,” she spits on him. “Did you just spit on me?” He asks, incredulous. The spitter replies, “Yes, I did. And I actually did not miss.” Satisfied with their transgression, then they saunter back to their table right across from where he is sitting. His companion off-camera asks someone to call the police, saying “this was an attack.” As he says this, the girls scoff and pretend to cry. “Aw, no an attack,” the spitter jeers. At their table is a third woman, recording the whole thing.
The other patrons in the restaurant stay seated, heads down, eating in silence. None of them say a word in his defence.
This is the state of the Irish left in 2025. A shameful shower of ideological whores shilling for a childish fantasy of Palestinian revolution from the safety of a continent away. Generations of affinity and large amounts of goodwill between the Irish and Jews have been evaporated by evil-minded little zealots who would not know real violence if it kicked them up the arse. Shame on those women — but shame, too, on all of the Irish political class who has been either enabling or directly encouraging this toxic scourge of anti-Semitism to flourish on an island that was once renowned for its hospitality and friendliness.
Even more chilling is the evidence that these girls were stalking the victim, Tamir Ohayon throughout the city. On his Instagram post, he wrote:
“During my business trip to Dublin, me and my coworker were assaulted by an organized group of girls for simply being Israelis. Previous to me filming the video, one of the girls approached me with camera to my face saying my name and basically all the intel she had about my stay in Dublin (the hotels I moved, the reason I came). It had been going like that for more than a couple minutes, with no one intervening. I had to film them so I could use that as evidence to the local police. Sadly, the police only came to the hotel two hours after the incident and didn't seem to care at all about the matter.”
Tamir also shared a screenshot of a story posted by another account using the handle @ginger_spectre, of one of Tamir’s stories at a different bar, in Dublin’s city centre, where it seems he was earlier, before the encounter in the restaurant. The original photo, posted by Tamir, was of a half-empty pint of Guinness and the words ‘I’m drunkkkk” typed onto it. Then, on top of Tamir’s story which was shared by the @ginger_specter account (now private), was a photograph of Tamir in which it looks like he is wearing a military uniform, and the words: IOF [Israeli Occupying Force] scum Zionist soldier currently in Dublin City. Last seen in Pantibar. The absolute nerve to come to Dublin.”
Just so we are clear: a young man visits Dublin. Has drinks. Takes photos. Sits down at a restaurant. Things that millions of people do, every single day, when they are visiting a city. But because this man is a young Israeli, a gaggle of screeching harridans appear. They stalk him. They berate him. They mock him. They curse him. They film him. And they spit on him. Proudly. Gleefully.
Ireland already had an image problem with Jews, before this latest disgrace. When I was in London a month ago, I was asked repeatedly by Canadian and American Jews: ‘what is going on in Ireland?’
What can I possibly say, at this point, in answer to that question? One man even asked me for advice, as his daughter had been accepted to one of the very good universities here. Should she go? With great regret, I said — absolutely not. Every corner of this island is a lonely and hostile place for Jews right now.
Did the women in that video not have fathers when they were growing up? Did no one teach them manners? That being rude to a guest — never mind attacking a guest — is one of the worst things a person can do?
These women and many, many others like them, try to convince us they are motivated by “politics” or “values,” or some other high minded thing. But really they are just sour, petulant, miserabilists. They are ill-tempered. They are scornful. They’re chunky and unattractive, physically as well as in personality. They have none of the lightness, the openness that is the birthright of being a young person.
It is, unfortunately, very easy to understand why they would take out their anger on the Jews, of all people. Because picking a fight with the Jews in Ireland is a very low-stakes play. A stray Israeli is an easy target. Their war, and their people, are far away. This is the epitome of the left-wing sickness of screaming about other people’s problems before you clean your own damn life up.
But it’s also a problem of genuine stupidity. These girls, and the left in general, do not have the intellectual chops it takes to tell the difference between a genocide and a war. It’s a difference that is blindingly obvious to me — and I am hardly a genius — but it is clearly beyond the capacity of at least two generations of people on the left. They are so misled and dimwitted that they have failed to notice that the people spitting on Jews have never — not one time — been the good guys.
The women in the video were quickly identified. The spitter was named as Zeina Ismail, and reports on social media claimed she is originally from Lebanon, and was fired from her job as a TikTok ad moderator for her extremism. Lena Seale, her companion in the attack, is a political activist with the far-left party People Before Profit. She was last year arrested, charged, and remanded on bail for damaging the building that houses the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs — after a pro-Palestinian protest, of course. In this article, Seale is described as a 32 year old “self-employed creative.”
Big boned, left wing, angry, resentful and a self-employed creative??? Colour me shocked.
People Before Profit is a tiny party that wants to see a united, socialist Ireland. But I would not write it off as a joke — even if its platform is a muddle of childish fantasy role-play and pathetic virtue signalling. The German elites once thought Hitler was a joke, too. Never underestimate how motivational a murderous hatred of Jews can be.
But the Irish anti semitism problem is a whole of society effort, not relegated to the fringes. According to this NPR piece from last month, 71 percent of Irish people “now think Isreal is an apartheid state.”
And there is no common sense realism coming from the top, quite the contrary. The only thing more loathsome than idiot activists is the smug venality of the upper class politicians who effortlessly spout virulent anti-Israel tropes to keep up with the moral grandstanding of the young ones — then have the cheek to turn around and assiduously court billions in foreign direct investment from American Jews like Sheryl Sandberg and Israeli corporations like Wix.
Note this telling little bit of an article on this news site, which managed to get an interview with Seale, perhaps because she felt they would be in her corner?
“Seale said that the pair confronted Ohayon due to his alleged previous involvement with the Israel Defence Forces. Ohayon is understood to have served in the city of Hebron in the West Bank, where in a deleted post on social media, he tagged the location as ‘Israel’. Speaking to The Journal, Seale also claims that Ohayon previously shared a story on Instagram about Gazans. She added that she and Ismail were not violent during the incident, and said it was ‘just a conversation’. Seale said that they had found Ohayon through his social media, where he had shared a selfie of himself in Hardy’s Bar.”
How did the Journal know about some random Israeli visitor’s deleted Instagram posts? Why is it even mentioned? Because it implies that this plus-sized, red-headed, Eva Braun had a point in attacking him.
I hope these women are subjected to the full force of the law, and I hope they feel serious consequences from their disgusting actions.
I feel personally embarrassed that I live on the same island as these two. I am mortified that I probably share a passport and a birthplace with one of them. But it has to be said, while they will hopefully carry the legal, moral and reputational burden of this for the rest of their natural born lives, the older people in the organisations with which they are affiliated need to be called to account.
For example, the party’s leader, Richard Boyd Barrett. He now is a long-standing member of the Irish parliament. But I knew him personally when I myself was a disaffected young woman looking for a reason, outside of myself, for my anger and disappointment. And I briefly found a cause in the Socialist Workers’ Party, of which I was a member for about a year. Boyd Barrett was a senior figure in the party and he would meet me regularly for coffee — almost like he was assigned to be my handler by this notoriously dour and doctrinaire group — to try to coax me to commit to Communism. He failed — obvs — but our frequent and lengthy political debates were always cordial, even warm. I always thought he seemed like a decent person.
I am almost haunted thinking back on him now — did he mentor these beastly women too? Will he not say anything publicly against such horrifying displays of hatred and scorn to a visitor to this country? Does he feel any shame at sharing a political affiliation with the perpetrators of such a vile act?
The left is beyond redemption. We must make them as toxic as they have done to everything that is good.
There are a few good eggs still here in the Irish media and political classes. People who do not feel a reflexive need to blame individual Jews for a geo-political conflagration. People who actually defend Jews and their country, surrounded as it is by people who are licking their chops at the prospect of their extermination. The local councillor for the town of Dun Laoghaire, where the incident happened, condemned it as “hateful and juvenile” and “anti-semitic”, and a Dail senator called for their arrest for assualt. Being an Irish person who speaks up for the Jews is a not a winning proposition these days. So fair play to them.
But to the rest of Ireland, I wash my hands of you.
The damage this does to Ireland is catastrophic. And the UK is not far behind. Alas. When i was in Israel last Easter people constantly asked me what was happening in England, why was the country so anti-Israeli. The answer I gave was that the silent majority is pro-Israel, or at least wants to give Israel a fair hearing, and the anti-Israeli and ant-Jewish agitation comes from a very small but very vocal minority. In the painful to watch video the saddest thing is how the rest of the people in the bar did not intervene.
Thank you for calling them out Jenny….
“These women and many, many others like them, try to convince us they are motivated by “politics” or “values,” or some other high minded thing. But really they are just sour, petulant, miserabilists.” Also, ditto on the Eva Braun reference.
Im sick , sick and triple sick of women bullies who suffer no consequences for their nasty deeds. What on earth is corrupting the female culture to encourage this type of evil behavior? Im convinced that they perform for their social media audience. The reality to them is on the screen. Their real life in person experiences are used only for the show they project on the screen. There is no consideration for the humanity at hand. We women are supposed to be the tender, the compassionate ready to nurture a kinder gentler world. These woman are thugs with boobs. They are so captured by their ideology, they are incapable of embarrassment. But, thank you for calling them out in Ireland Jennie. Me and millions of American woman will be calling them out here as well.
